Massachusetts Libraries empower their communities and play a vital role in ensuring all residents have equal access to information. Libraries are meeting places, community centers, and resources for everyone. Use your voice and show your support for libraries as our local state legislators discuss the MBLC’s FY2026 Legislative agenda.

State Senator Jo Comerford, and State Representatives Jon Zlotnik, Kimberly Ferguson, and Suzanna Whipps will be our guest speakers. In addition to our legislators, Jeanette Lundgren from CWMARS, Tressa Santillo from the Mass Library System and Commissioner Karen Traub from the Mass Board of Library Commissioners will also speak.

At this breakfast, the Beals Library will share its autism inclusion initiative and promote the work all libraries do to empower their communities.

This free event is open to the public.
