Food for Fines!
DURING THE WHOLE OF DECEMBER!

During the month of December, we’re giving you the chance to clear your overdue fines and help neighbors in need! For every unopened, unexpired canned or non-perishable item you donate $1 in late fees will be waived, up to $10. Fines will not be forgiven for library items that are lost or damaged. Those without fines are also encouraged to donate items as each item will be used anonymously to forgive another patron’s fines. All donations will go to support local families through the Winchendon CAC.

Sensory Friendly Santa Visit
Saturday, December 13 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM [Snow Date: Sun, Dec 14th]
Limited Space Available, Registration Required.
Registration starts November 10th.

Santa is coming to the Library! He will be meeting individuals (regardless of age) who are neurodivergent, on the autism spectrum, or have other special needs, and their families. Families get to enjoy 10 minutes with Santa in a separate sensory friendly room to share their wishes and snap festive photos. Participants are also invited to participate in a holiday craft, listen to stories, and receive a winter themed book. Enjoy delicious baked

Holiday Movie Matinee: It’s a Wonderful Life

If you love getting into the holiday spirit with a great movie, then the Beals Memorial Library has just the thing! We will be celebrating the holidays with a special showing of It’s a Wonderful Life. So, if you’d like a chance to catch this Hollywood classic on the big screen, then grab some popcorn and head to the Winchendon library!
