Calling all artists ages 3-18! The Beals Memorial Library is seeking creative designs to help us gear up for the 2023 Summer Reading Club by designing a bookmark the reflects this year's theme of "Find Your Voice."
 
Submit your original artwork April 18 -June 17
One winner will be selected from the following groups:
Ages 3-5        Ages 6-8        Ages 9-13        Ages 14-18
Winners will also get a special prize courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
 
Winning bookmarks will be announced at the Summer Reading Club Kick Off Party Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

During the summer entries will be displayed at the library and the winning designs will be printed and distributed. Entry forms are available at the Beals Library or can be downloaded from our website at bealslibrary.org/bookmark.
Competition Rules:

  • Draw your bookmark design within the box given.

  • Original Entries only.

  • One entry per person.

  • The design should reflect the library's summer reading theme of "Find Your Voice".

  • Designs may be created with crayons, colored pencils, markers, and/or acrylic paint. Please avoid using fluorescent/neon colors.

  • Computer generated designs will not be accepted.

  • Your design may run horizontal or vertical.

  • All entries must be clear and reproducible.

  • Entry forms are available at the Beals Library or can be downloaded from our website at bealslibrary.org/bookmark.
